Ten Warning Signs of Mental Health Issues
It can be challenging to recognize the warning signs of mental health issues. Each illness has its own unique set of signs and symptoms, so it�s important to be aware of common warning signs, making it easier to recognize them in yourself and in those around you.

� Feeling sad or withdrawn for more than two weeks
� Severe mood swings that cause problems in relationships
� Intense worries or fears that get in the way of daily activities
� Sudden overwhelming fear for no reason
� Seriously trying to harm or kill oneself or making plans to do so
� Not eating, throwing up or using laxatives to lose weight
� Significant weight loss or weight gain
� Severe out-of-control risk taking behavior
� Repeated use of drugs or alcohol
� Drastic changes in behavior personality or sleeping habits
